What does an injection mould cost at WELLGO?
It depends on part, cavity count, material and steel grade. As a guide: simple single-cavity tools start in the low five-figure range, complex multi-cavity family tools sit in the six-figure range. We provide a solid cost estimate after the first feasibility check based on your CAD data.
What does PPAP mean?
PPAP stands for "Production Part Approval Process" — a standardised sampling method from the automotive industry. The supplier proves before serial start that its process constantly produces parts in customer quality. WELLGO is PPAP-ready and documents accordingly.
What is IMDS?
IMDS is the "International Material Data System" — the automotive industry standard where materials and ingredients of a part are recorded. We maintain IMDS data sets for our customers per OEM specification.
At what volume does injection moulding become economical?
Injection moulding is usually economical from several thousand parts per year — depending on part and tool cost. For smaller volumes we assess alternatives (e.g. simple tool, prototype methods).
How fast can WELLGO build a tool?
Typical toolmaking lead times are 8 to 16 weeks — depending on complexity and workload. Our in-house toolmaking enables fast reactions to changes and faster sampling than external toolmakers.
Which materials does WELLGO process?
We process more than 100 different materials — from standard plastics (ABS, PA6, PP, PC) to high-temperature grades (PPA, PPS, PA 6.6 variants) to elastomers (TPU, TPC, TPO, TPV) and additive compounds (glass/carbon fibre, flame-retardant, UV, conductive).
What is an OEM or white-label programme at WELLGO?
An OEM or white-label programme means: you sell products under your brand, we produce them. We bring proven product platforms (hygiene dispensers, drives), adapt them to your design, colour and optionally smart features — including RFID and LoRaWAN integration.
What does RFID mean in the smart paper dispenser?
RFID ensures that only certified consumables are used in the dispenser. This protects end-user quality, prevents third-party material from damaging the mechanism and secures the anchor's consumables business model.
What does LoRaWAN do in the smart paper dispenser?
LoRaWAN is a radio technology for energy-efficient, long-range data transmission. In the smart dispenser it transmits fill-level and operation data to the operator — re-supply is delivered only when needed, outages are avoided.
Where is WELLGO located?
WELLGO Gerätetechnik GmbH is located at Zum Nagelkopf 2, 66625 Nohfelden, in the northern Saarland. WELLGO GmbH was founded in 1982 in Idar-Oberstein; today's core site is Nohfelden. We are the core of the WELLGO Group with around 150 employees.
Is WELLGO certified for the automotive industry?
Yes. We work to ISO 9001:2015, deliver PPAP-ready and document IMDS-compliant. Additional automotive standards we assess project-specifically.
Does WELLGO also produce small series or prototypes?
Yes. Our machine park covers the full volume spectrum; we produce small series in parallel with large series in the same house.
