Plastics system supplier

One supplier instead of five interfaces.

Buying plastic parts usually means coordinating several companies: design, toolmaking, moulding, finishing, assembly. At WELLGO that chain sits in one house — with one responsibility from feasibility to the ready-to-ship assembly.

A system supplier differs from a contract manufacturer in one respect: it owns the result, not just one process step. At WELLGO that means design support, tool concept, series process, finishing and assembly are not handed across company boundaries but happen in the same building.

For procurement this changes three things above all: there is one contractual partner instead of several, tool changes run without external coordination, and when a deviation occurs nobody has to argue about who owns it.

This does not pay off for every part. For simple standard parts a specialised contract manufacturer is often cheaper. The model shows its strength where tool, part and assembly are technically linked — overmoulded inserts, function-integrated housings, or assemblies containing electronics.

What sits under one roof

Five stages, one owner.

01

Development & simulation

Design support, Cadmould filling simulation and Varimos cycle optimisation — manufacturing risks become visible before the tool, not after it.

02

Toolmaking

In-house toolmaking with 14 CNC/EDM machines. Changes run internally, without tool transport and without an external schedule.

03

Injection moulding

38 machines from 40 to 1,000 t clamping force, from small parts to large-area components, with continuous process monitoring.

04

Finishing

Printing, painting, laminating and overmoulding — surface and function are created in the same chain.

05

Assembly

Manual and semi-automated assembly through to the ready-to-ship unit, including functional testing.

06

Quality

ISO 9001:2015 certified, PPAP-capable sampling, IMDS-compliant material data.
